While we don’t offer booking directly on this website (yet), it is designed to be an aggregate of the top properties in our area, so that you can see them conveniently in one place and pick one (or several if traveling in a group) that fits your needs. Many properties on the Vacation page may have multiple ways to book from such as Airbnb, VRBO, or a direct booking website.

  • A: While we do love our furry friends, unfortunately, none of our properties are pet-friendly due to HOA regulations. However, if you are traveling with a service pet, please let your host know in advance. The animal will not be allowed to be left inside the unit without the guests. If it is a service animal, let your host know the answers to the following questions:

    1. Is the animal required because of a disability?

    2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

  • A: Yes! Most of our properties are kid-friendly!

  • A: No smoking ANYTHING inside the properties. Each property has designated smoking areas outside. For fire prevention, please ensure to dispose of butts properly.

  • A: While each property listed on this website will have different community rules and regulations, these are the rules for Waterway Village. Because some of our neighbors live here year-round, please ensure all people in your party follow these rules:

QUIET HOURS: 11 pm to 8 am

WWV condos are not soundproof. Please be respectful of other residents. Keep loud noise to a minimum. Never leave cigarettes unattended on porches.

VEHICLES: All cars must have a WWV parking pass. Place yellow hang tag in front windshield. If you have a second car it should be parked around the pond.

NO Motorcycles, Trailers, Motorhomes or Boats. Towing enforced.

FISHING: Is allowed from pier (behind building 25/26) and around the pond. You should have a fishing license to fish off the pier. White gate pass required to enter. DO NOT clean fish on the pier.

GARBAGE: Place garbage in the dumpsters located near the entrance gates and near building 18/19 in front of the outdoor pool. Both trash areas have fencing around them enter from the sides. To recycle plastic and carboard no glass (follow instructions for what is recyclable) place in bright green bin outside of the gated trash area near entrance gates. No plastic bags in recycling. DO NOT leave trash bags in the hallway outside of the unit.

GRILLS: No privately owned grills allowed in units or on porches. WWV grills are located by the indoor pool and behind building 29.

PEST CONTROL: The community pest control day is the 2nd Thursday, the pest company will knock on the door, and then will come in and spray around the baseboards. Myrtle Beach FAQs

  • A: If you are booking in Waterway Village, it’s about 5 miles or 10 minutes from Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR).

  • A: Unless you are staying in a property on Ocean Blvd. we highly recommend getting a rental car. That way you can enjoy everything the Grand Strand offers from North Myrtle Beach to the Hammock Shops in Pawleys Island. Public transportation is not that great, and during the summer it’s very hot to walk or bike far (and there are not many sidewalks).

  • A: During the months of March-Oct. most beach accesses have paid parking (read more here) We recommend going to the Myrtle Beach State Park and buying a daily ($8 per person) or weekly ($65) pass. We also like the Springmaid Pier area and the beaches around 60’s avenues. If you are going to the beach in the summer be sure to get there very early to get a spot! If you are staying at one of our beachfront properties parking is free with your stay!

  • A: If you are booking in Waterway Village, it’s about 4 miles or 10 minutes. It’s so close we can hear! If it was possible, we could row a boat to it!

  • We love hosting CCU parents, families, students and alumni (and host them often)! One of our founders teaches there! If you are staying in Waterway Village, we are about 8 miles or 15 minutes depending on 501 traffic.

  • A: Myrtle Beach is known as The Golf Capital of the World. We suggest booking tee times here.

  • A: Remember to bring sunscreen, pool/beach towels, beach chairs, and drink lots of water in the summer! Please remember to keep doors closed during the summer to prevent humidity inside the units and to keep the rust away. If you see a giant bug those are called Palmetto bugs and while alarming are perfectly normal for the area. We try our darndest to make sure they don’t sneak in so please don’t leave out food for their dinner. ☺ O, and if you get stung by a jelly fish DO NOT pee on it!
